I bought it for myself as a gift last Mother&#8217;s Day. I told Johnny he just bought me a very nice cooking gift. snicker&#8230;..It is giant and can fit 2 little roast beefs inside. I don&#8217;t know why I still cook for a crowd but I do. And then we have tons of leftovers. I should work on that&#8230;..<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-32Z9_G_P8dk\/Tk3_2AKK19I\/AAAAAAAADoE\/4ZN7cCmQ9v4\/s1600\/pies+054.JPG\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"238\" src=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-32Z9_G_P8dk\/Tk3_2AKK19I\/AAAAAAAADoE\/4ZN7cCmQ9v4\/s320\/pies+054.JPG\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">So here&#8217;s my pork roast being seared on all sides by me and my trusty frying pan.<\/p>\n<table align=\"center\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-rI02RMhMWqU\/Tk3__HEU5zI\/AAAAAAAADoI\/vH8FFPgv12U\/s1600\/pies+056.JPG\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" border=\"0\" height=\"238\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/-rI02RMhMWqU\/Tk3__HEU5zI\/AAAAAAAADoI\/vH8FFPgv12U\/s320\/pies+056.JPG\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\">I added a bunch of onion slices and a few little &#8220;SHAKES&#8221; (like 1\/2 &nbsp;teaspoon) of Mesquite seasoning packet from GRILLMATES&nbsp;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">PORK ROAST CROCK POT RECIPE:<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">Season with Montreal Steak Seasoning (seared on high in a frying pan)<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">1 cup apple juice, 1 cup chicken broth or 2 cups either<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">1 small jar apricot preserves (I&#8217;ve used peach also)<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">1 1\/2 teaspoons dijon &nbsp;mustard<br \/>1 teaspoon cornstarch whisked in<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">1\/2 sliced vidalia or other sweet onion<br \/>A pinch (1\/2 teaspoon) Mesquite Seasoning from Grillmates<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">Bake for 6 to 7 hours on medium in a crock pot<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\">&nbsp;I like to put Montreal Steak Seasoning all over it before I sear it. Then I just put it in the crock with 2 cups apple juice, 2 teaspoon Dijon Mustard, and 1 small jar of apricot preserves. It ends up with a kind of sweet and tart glaze. &nbsp;I also add some sliced Vidalia Onions sliced thick. And some mesquite seasoning packet, I just used a few shakes&#8230;.it is very spicy.<\/p>\n<table align=\"center\" cellpadding=\"0\" cellspacing=\"0\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mccormick.com\/~\/media\/Images\/Products\/Product%20Details\/GrillMates\/Marinades\/grill%20mates%20mesquite%20marinade.ashx?w=225\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" \/><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\">Spicy but delicious stuff&#8230;..for a kick&#8230;.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>&nbsp; I may add some carrots to the roast when it&#8217;s close to being done if I have any baby carrots left in the fridge. Candied Carrots are so nice with this recipe. I&#8217;m just using the bottled varieties today. I just picked it up at the market so we will see. Yeah it&#8217;s only a buck a plate at the Dollar Store! I also bought some light blue ones at Smiths Marketplace! &nbsp;Now I&#8217;ve got black AND blue AND fruity stoneware to add to my plate stock. Can&#8217;t wait to use those black ones at Halloween. It will make some tender chicken pieces &nbsp;for tomorrow night&#8217;s dinner. &nbsp;They were flavorful, &nbsp;divine, and very tasty, the next day.
